Day One:
The pros and the cons of the convention. The pros is a lot of cosplayers and lolitas. The con is a hotel convention. I attend the kpop panel 101, maid cafe and the karaoke. Thanks Angel Kitten Tsukiyomi for inviting me. I love the theme of Alice in Wonderland. I won a raffle and a free balloon. There is a photoshoot room where you can pose a picture of your character like One Piece, Fullmetal Alchemist, etc. This is a introucdce for kpop 101. It was hosted by Jenchan of Infotakus. Kpop was originating in the south korea. Kpop derives from foxtrot. This reminds me of TLC with the pretty face, the rapper, the singer and the dancer. Boa is the best of asia. Every company is represented by different sounds. Fans go for looks and personality. Attended the comedy show with danny gonzeles and the crew. They have a fake vocalic panel. The PMX Dance was alright.

Day Two:
I attended the panel of get to know your creepers/trolls hosted by Infotakus. The tips: Speak up if you don't want to be harassed. Respect and trust. A creeper means more drama., you don't enjoy yourself anymore, you get bored. Comic conventions have more creepers than anime conventions. Anime conventions are more closer than comic cons. Just have to ask and say thank you! Don't add creepers from Facebook, just send them a message. Photoshoots are for photographers. Don't give out your personal information. Go to a convention with your friends. Don't be afraid to say no. I attended the panel of Mari Naramura of Juliette et Justine. USA Lolitas are very cute. She studied psychology before getting into fashion design. Her clothing line was inspired by nature and reading books. Her favorite design was the princess design. The design was inspired by manga to get the artwork. It was copyright. Music help empty the mind. She work for the clothing line about 50 years. Her motto is always be true. I attended the masquera to support my friend hiotmichan. She cosplayed Baby Doll from Sucker Punch. I attended the PMX Pump It Up and the fillpino party games.

Day Three:
Attened the pool party, just chilling with friends, hang out, play, sing and dance lol.

PMX Cosplay Contest for Niesi Week

I recently join the costly contest as Luffy from One Piece. I didn't win but Im learning. This was a Tanbata Festival in 100 N Central Ave LA CA 90012. The first place prize was $120, pmx 2013 badge and goodies. The second prize was PMX badge and goodies. The third prize was PMX goodies. The contest ends 9pm. Thanks to the photographers, Infotakus and Zekie Cho who took photos of us. On Sunday, I had a Infoukus meetup in Wellers Court for niseiweek.org. I didnt participate in the cosplayy parade because I didnt costly but saw my awesome friends Vanessa Abari, Louis Santos and Stephan Jordan

Agit Gallery presents Anime Explode

This is a free event. Amazing art, otaku comedy, live music and cosplay contest. The comedians are D-boy, Jason Daley and Trung Troung. I love the joke where D-boy explains when you watching anime, you pause and when you come back, its a pink screen, i was like lol. The live music was Midnight Shingimi, Momotama and Paprika Mari. There was a maid service provided by Tokari Maids. I was in the cosplay contest where I cosplayed ChunLi from Street Fighter. Japanese Fashion presents What is the History of Lolita Fashion

No one is exactly postivie when the fashion appeared but its commonly believed to be back in the late 1980s with the emerge of brands such as MILK, Pink House and Pretty which is now called Angelic Pretty. In addition to being a fashion, some people enjoy living a Lolita lifestyle in one sees Lolita as more of a philosophy of living beautifully rather than just dressing it. Someone living a Lolita Lifestyle may try and live like a princess surrounding themselves with things of beauty and taking part in a number of proper feline activities such as baking, embroidery, sewing and other old fashioned "women" activities.

What Does the Name Lolita Come From

Lolita is a term that refers to a sexually precouis young girl by a dictionary defintion a term that is based on Vladmir Nabokv's novel Lolita (1955) However, this defintion does not apply to Japanese Lolita. The origin of the fashion name has not been confirmed but it may be a case of wasei-eigo (japanese psudeo-angelicism) While the western adaption of Lolita is sexy, Japanese Lolita Fashion strikes for the opposite. Its a very modest look the majority of Lolitas would describe as elegant and cute rather than sexy. As such, Ero Lolita may be seen as controversial within the own subculture, as its the only style to lean towards sexiness, although it remains modest compared though the majority of western fashion styles.

Japanese Fashion Series: What is Lolita Fashion

Lolita is a street fashion and a subculture in Japan known for its intricate and delicate doll-like look. The clothing is inspired mainly by the rocco and victorian eras but also take influences from the current fashion trends. The fashion covers a larage variety of substyles and generally worn by females as there is no male counterpart of Lolita. Men who desires to participate in the fashion often turn to Ouji (a unisex fashion related to Lolita) or Japanese gothic fashion. However, cross-dressing males (also known as brololitas in the west) do exist. One of the most famous Lolita icons, Mana is a cross-dressing male.

Cherry Blossom and Anime Festival in Long Beach

I went here for the Fairytale Boutique Fashion Show, Lolita Dark Concert and Stephaine Yanez Concert. This is a anime festival for the culture of Japan. There was workshops, family activities, kimono demo, ondo with taiko, tea ceremony, AMV screening, karaoke sing off, budo taijutsu, costly competion, award ceremony and a fashion show.
